The Creative Industries Development Service (CIDS) has been developing and providing support to the creative industries in Greater Manchester and the wider North West since 2000. CIDS was originally tasked with a cluster development project and to establish employer networks across the creative industries. Since then, CIDS has managed a series of economic development programmes, working with these networks on projects to assist business start up, trade development and growth.
Based on this unparalleled history of work and in-depth level of industry knowledge and contacts, CIDS is now able to provide detailed research and consultancy services, harnessing their long established position at the centre of the North West’s creative industries.
